New lifts in facility upgrade

Toms River Marine and Motorsports in New Jersey, USA has installed 20 Golden four-post boat lifts in an enhancement project that included a new boat ramp.

The boat lifts, installed by Borel Docks Marine Construction – a Golden Manufacturing dealer and installer for 20 years – are constructed using fully-welded 6061 T6 marine grade aluminium to provide an extremely solid and durable structure that will give a long service life even when supporting boats weighing 28,000lbs (13,000kg). Hardware and cables are 300-series stainless steel for use in a corrosive saltwater environment.
Lifting power is provided by the long-established Golden Sea-Drive. Said to double the industry standard, it provides 8,000 in-lb of torque. Because of its design, it cannot back drive so will never fail and accidentally drop a boat.
