BAHAMAS: Buyer or JV partner sought for luxury resort marina build
The development rights to build a marina in the heart of a 2,000-acre luxury resort and residential development on Grand Bahama Island have come up for sale.
Located on the south shore of Grand Bahama at the entrance to the Grand Lucayan Waterway just 90 miles from Florida’s Palm Beach, the marina will sit beside a Six Senses Resort with branded residences and be set within a marina village. The master plan outlines a marina basin that covers ten acres and has deepwater access making it suitable for large yachts; a large upland area for possible development as a dry storage facility; amenities, such as restaurant and tiki-bar; and access to over two miles of pristine white sand beaches.
Safe Haven Advisors is soliciting proposals for either acquisition of the marina and upland development rights or alternatively a strategic development partner to participate in a joint venture for the marina development with the sponsors of the master planned community.
