UK: Rebranding 29-marina chain – plus benefits

Aquavista, operator of five coastal marinas and 24 inland marinas in the UK, has brought its recently acquired Castle Marinas portfolio under the Aquavista brand umbrella.

The company, which is based in the English Midlands, acquired Castle Marinas in December 2021. It is taking a ‘best of both’ approach when creating a new corporate brand for both Castle and Aquavista sites.
Aquavista CEO, Steve de Polo, explained: “We are delighted to fully integrate the 11 Castle marinas into the Aquavista group. This move brings together all 29 marinas into an unparalleled network offering excellent customer service.”
“We have spent some very productive months getting to know the Castle business, the teams and the customers,” de Polo continued. “The rebrand will allow us to focus on creating a more united company with the knowledge that customers’ experiences at their marinas are central to their enjoyment of waterside life.”
In mid-May, Aquavista also announced an ambitious package of benefits to its annual berth holders. Called the Moor Benefits scheme, it offers a range of special offers and discounts, as well as 34 nights free of charge mooring – within the new Explore34 concept – across the marina network.
Not only does Explore34 give customers the opportunity to stay at any Aquavista marina for up to 34 nights at no extra cost, but coastal-based customers can take advantage of Aquavista’s membership of TransEurope Marinas, enjoying a 50% berthing discount on stays of up to five days at any marina within its European network.
